Stir-Fry Sauce

Hi friends! I love a good stir-fry, how about you? It is so great to be able to turn new or leftover veggies into an amazing meal the family will devour with no complaints! Add this sauce and you will have just that, a healthy easy meal. It is great for those clean out your fridge nights. You could easily make this sauce ahead of time and have all your veggies prepped so you could have this on the table in less than 30 minutes. My middle boy has started saying ‘awesomesauce’ about things he is happy about, well for me this stir-fry sauce is awesomesauce! I am so excited to share this recipe with you!

Stir-fry Sauce

1/2 cup Coconut Aminos

1 Tbsp rice vinegar

1 Tbsp Mirin

1 1/2 Tbsp toasted sesame oil

1/2 tsp grated fresh ginger

2 Tbsp corn starch, tapioca starch, arrowroot starch

Whisk all together and add to cooked veggies and stir until heated through and coating veggies, about 3-4 minutes. Enjoy!

This is what my stir-fry looked like last night, I used sweet potatoes, yellow bell peppers, mushrooms, onions, peas, broccoli slaw and shaved Brussel sprouts. After cooking I topped with chopped green onions and toasted sesame seeds.  Awesomesauce!                                                       What kind of veggies do you like in your stir-fry or do you just use whatever you are cleaning out of your fridge? That is usually when I come up with the best tasting recipes. Using all those leftovers saves money and produces less waste. Until next time friends, enjoy!
