DIY Deodorant

Hi friends! I want to share with you my favorite, and only one I use, homemade deodorant recipe. Seriously, it is the only deodorant you will ever need. It passes the high stress 12 hour test! Store bought deodorant with all it’s long chemical words you can’t even pronounce doesn’t work this good, once you try it you will never buy deodorant that can harm you again.

Deodorant

  • Difficulty: easy
  • Print

6 TBSP coconut oil

1/4 cup raw shea butter

3 TBSP Beeswax

10 TBSP Baking soda

2 TBSP Tapioca starch

40 drops Lavender essential oil

(for the men’s version, because my husband said the Lavender was too girly)

leave out the Lavender and replace with

20 drops Valor

5 drops Lime

In a double boiler melt coconut oil, shea butter and beeswax, once liquid turn stove off but keep pan on burner. Add baking soda and tapioca starch and stir, then add essential oils. Quickly mix and pour into deodorant containers. I can fill 3 of these containers. Enjoy feeling confident!

When you try this recipe let me know how you like it! Also, let me know if you find different oil combinations so I can update for others!

Forever Grateful,

Kelly
